A big part of the initial 'Primary Care Services North Cumbria Project' was to help provide Primary Care in North Cumbria with an improved presence across media both to support recruitment and to help capture the positive work taking place.
The Communications and Media Lead on the initial project (June 2023 - April 2026) and now continuing into the work of the Collaboration is Paul Day - who previously worked as part of the Communications Team for NHS North Cumbria Clinical Commissioning Group and then the North East and North Cumbria Integrated Care Board.
He has worked in many areas of communications and media over the years but is a specialist in digital communications, multi-media / content creation, websites, social media and design. He also previously worked for Cumbria Police in their Marketing and Communications team from 2007 to 2016.
