Are you a Registered Adult Nurse, Midwife or Paramedic looking for a rewarding new challenge?

The Bridgeway, Cumbria Sexual Assault Referral Centre in Penrith is recruiting Forensic Nurse Examiners to support young people and adults aged 13+ who have experienced sexual assault or rape.

This is a 24-hour per week role, working two 12-hour shifts (9am–9pm). We provide a 7-day service, so weekend working is required. On evenings with no case in, staff will often leave around 6pm and remain on call from home until 9pm on normal pay. 

No previous forensic experience is required; full training is provided. We're looking for compassionate clinicians who are passionate about supporting vulnerable people and making a difference.

Are you a GMC-registered Doctor looking for a different clinical challenge?

The Bridgeway, Cumbria SARC in Penrith is recruiting a Sexual Offence Examiner/Forensic Physician to support children, young people and adults who have experienced sexual assault. The role focuses on providing compassionate, trauma-informed care, forensic examinations, safeguarding and multi-agency working. 

This is a 24-hour per week position, currently working Monday to Thursday, 9am–3pm, although other part-time hours may be considered. The role is based in Penrith, with some travel required depending on service needs. 

No previous forensic experience is required. Full training, clinical placements, mentorship and support are provided to develop the skills needed for the role.
